Water Purification
EMIAS Therapeutics Colloidal Silver employs a two-stage water purification process to produce medical grade steam distilled water.
1st Stage: Reverse Osmosis Filtration
We begin the purification process by passing the water through a Commercial Multi-Stage Reverse Osmosis Filtration System.

2nd Stage: Steam Distillation
We then process the RO filtered water through a Commercial Steam Distillation Unit to provide a final source water of the highest quality.

To guarantee silver nanoparticle parts per million consistency across batches, our production operates to a threshold of 22 parts per million.
Concentrations are then accurately adjusted with our pure medical grade steam distilled water to achieve the required 10, 15 and 20 parts per million concentrations.
Important information – Never dilute any colloidal silver product (especially products with high concentrations of 30 PPM and above) with anything other than pure medical grade steam distilled water. Any impurity could result in changing the chemical composition of the solution and may result in an adverse, and potentially toxic chemical reaction.

Quality Comparison
The following images demonstrate the difference between premium quality, professionally produced Emias Therapeutics Colloidal Silver in contradistinction to poor quality manufactured colloidal silver which is commercially available on the UK market.
Both images were taken using TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) of samples magnified 30,000 times greater (100 nanometer scale).
EMIAS Therapeutics professionally produced, premium quality Colloidal Silver contains pure silver nanoparticles within the range of 1 to 50 nanometers in size. Nanoparticles are uniformly distributed and there is no agglomeration or aggregation of particles (clustering or clumping).
In contrast, poorly produced colloidal silver often contains particle sizes which are significantly too large and irregularly distributed. As a result, the solution suffers clustering and clumping of silver particles into unfavourable larger solid masses. This can be the result of poor manufacturing processes, low purity silver, impure water, additives or other elemental or organic contamination. Usage of poor quality colloidal silver could either prove to be ineffective as a treatment or directly harmful to health.
