Colloidal Silver

Since its advent in 1891, colloidal silver has been used by millions around the world to treat a vast array of common health conditions and immune system support. Indeed, it was the go-to solution to treat many common illnesses and infections prior to the introduction of synthetic antibiotics by the corporate interests involved.

Do not use this product if you or the person or animal you are using it on has any history of allergies or adverse reactions to the ingredients stated above.

Important information before adminstering any kind of medication or treatment – If you have any serious concerns regarding the health of yourself or the person or animal you are treating, please seek immediate emergency medical advice from your General Practitioner, nearest hospital or veterinary clinic.

Never dilute colloidal silver with anything other than ultra-pure steam distilled water. Never use tap water, mineral water, filtered water, de-ionised water or other, as this has the potential to contaminate the purity of any colloidal silver solution.

Never dilute colloidal silver with saline solution (Sodium Chloride /NaCl) or mix with, or take at the same time, any other form of salts, or products containing salts, as this could produce an adverse chemical reaction.

Please note, due to changes in European Union legislation 2002/46/EC, Colloidal Silver is not classified as, nor can be described as a ‘dietary supplement’.

We understand people have personal preference for stronger or weaker concentrations of colloidal silver. Therefore, to cater for individual requirements, EMIAS Therapeutics Colloidal Silver is available in concentrations of (parts per million):

• 10 PPM

• 15 PPM

• 20PPM

To stay within health and safety guidelines, we do not advise using concentrations of colloidal silver higher than 20 PPM.

Due to the composition of colloidal silver, diluting with anything other than ultra-pure steam distilled water has the potential to contaminate the purity of any colloidal silver product, for instance using tap water, mineral water or filtered water, de-ionised water, or other as a diluting solution. Doing so could result in creating a ‘colloidal … something else’, depending on what is present in the diluting water, for example, other minerals, electrolyte salts, chemicals, contaminants. This is obviously not desirable.

Although many colloidal silver producers sell ‘high strength’ solutions (30PPM and higher) and advertise that it can be diluted to ‘get more for your money’ , for your health and safety we advise to only buy original high quality and pure colloidal silver, made only with ultra-pure steam distilled water and the purest 999.9 fine silver.

As with any conventional medicine or natural solutions, we always advise to do your own research before using any product, so you are informed about your condition and best way to treat it.

*Typical usages and applications stated below are taken from real-world anecdotal evidence of the treatment of common health conditions using colloidal silver, and is freely available on the internet and other literature.

A note on the use of TDS Meters (Total dissolvable Solids) for testing colloidal silver products:

In the interest of product safety and consumer expectation, conventional TDS meters are neither suitable for, nor designed for testing and measuring the PPM (parts per million) silver content of any colloidal silver product. Typical usage:

• For common conditions apply 1-2 drops of Colloidal Silver to the affected eye using a dropper applicator. Repeat procedure to a maximum of 3 times a day.

Typical usage:

• For common conditions apply 1-2 sprays of Colloidal Silver using a vertical atomising spray applicator. Repeat procedure to a maximum of 3 times a day.

Typical usage:

• For common oral conditions, use 15-30ml of Colloidal Silver as a mouthwash rinse and additionally gargle for at least 60 seconds, then expel from the mouth after use.
• Alternatively, apply 2-5 sprays of Colloidal Silver using an atomising spray applicator. Repeat procedure to a maximum of 3 times a day.
• For localised conditions apply Colloidal Silver directly to the affected area using a cotton ear bud or atomising spray applicator. Repeat procedure to a maximum of 3 times a day.

Typical usage:

• For common conditions, apply using 1-2 sprays of Colloidal Silver in each nostril using a vertical atomising spray applicator. Repeat procedure to a maximum of 3 times a day.
• Alternatively, apply using 20 drops (¼ teaspoon) of Colloidal Silver diluted in ½ cup of clean, lukewarm medical grade steam-distilled water in a nasal irrigator. Repeat procedure to a maximum of 2 times a day.

Important information – NEVER mix Colloidal Silver with any other liquid or substance; especially salt (Sodium Chloride / NaCl) in any form, including medical nebuliser saline solutions. Do not use colloidal silver nasally at the same time, or at least within 4 hours of, using any other treatment containing salts, for example saline nasal sprays.

Important information – Colloidal Silver should only be diluted with medical grade pure steam-distilled water. Do not dilute with any other form of water such as municipal tap water, mineral water, spring water, filtered water.

Typical usage:

• For common skin conditions, apply Colloidal Silver to the affected area neat as a rinse or apply using an atomising spray applicator to avoid rubbing and physical aggravation of the area. Leave uncovered to air-dry.
• For non-irritable skin conditions, gently wipe or dab the affected area using a cotton ball, clean cosmetic tissue or sterile medical gauze soaked in Colloidal Silver and leave to air-dry.

Typical usage:

• For common skin infections, irritations and chronic skin conditions, apply Colloidal Silver to the affected area neat as a rinse or:
  
  • For smaller animals – apply using an atomising spray applicator.
